We are a non-profit non-governmental organization. Since 1994, we have been helping people who have decided to cross their criminal past. We believe that it pays to give them a second chance in life.
We want them to be able to become full members of society again – to have a job, solve their debts, take care of family and loved ones, live a happy life.
We try to remove the barriers that prevent our clients from doing so. They carry some of these obstacles within themselves, others are put in their way by the system, and others are created by the prejudices of society.
We know that together we can achieve more than we can do alone. That is why we cooperate with other stakeholders – non-profit organizations, state and local government bodies, and employers. Together we strive for changes in the system of integration of persons with a criminal past. Together we are creating a safer and more open society.
32% of our employees have a criminal record. Their personal experience is irreplaceable for our work. |
We are a founding member of the:
Association of Organisations Working in Penal Affaires (AOOV). |
